Why Use LED in Your Grow?
Wideband Spectrum LED offers a large enough light spectrum that you can use it throughout the entire growth cycle. An HID (high intensity discharge) system requires you to use a MH (Metal Halide) bulb for the seedling and vegetative stages and then a HPS (High Pressure Sodium) bulb for the flowering stage.
Advantages to an HID Light Setup
Let’s start with a quick explanation of why HID Lights (or High Intensity Discharge Lights) work well for cannabis growing. Because most people grow their plants indoors in order to better control all of the elements involved in cannabis production, you need a light that will provide intense light that mimics sunlight.
